Summer Learning Journey/Team Players

  1. Hi Jack
Being a good team player is important. Richie McCaw does have great leadership qualities. He leads by example, and always tried to play his best game. He thinks before making decisions. You often saw him talking to others around him, that he trusted, to help him make the best decision at the time. He did not get upset when things did not go his way, he accepted it carried on. I like the way you have used images of people you think are good team players. It would be great to see why you chose these two players.

  2. Kia ora Jack,

My name is Leisha. I am from the Summer Learning Journey blog commenting team. I hope you are enjoying your summer holidays so far!

Well done for creating a neat poster about Jonah and Richie. It is great to see you have used images on your post to make it attractive and eye-catching. Next time, see if you can try to put text into your own words. You might like to try bullet pointing facts such as…
    1. Richie is a famous NZ rugby player
    2. He was the All Blacks captain for 11 years
    3. He is a strong leader

Richie and Jonah as “superheros” because they have extra special sporting powers. If you were a superhero, what three superpowers would you have? I would love to have invisibility and also to be able to fly.

I look forward to hearing what your superpowers would be!

  3. Hi Jack,

We have noticed that you haven’t done any Summer Learning Journey activities for a while. Our programme finish date is the 24th of January so you still have plenty of time to complete some more activities and collect more points.

Head here to find the activities: https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/weekly-activities

Remember, if you have any questions about any of the activities all you have to do is ask!

I am looking forward to seeing more posts from you over the next week!

    Leisha :)
