My Limericks

This is all my limericks. Limericks are basically a poem that has 5 sentences and rhymes but 1 2 and 5 have to rhyme together and 3 and 4  have to, but not like 1, 2 and 5, 3 and 4 rhyme differently. Have you ever made a limerick before?

  1. Hi jack, those are cool limericks, did you have fun thinking them up.Which one was the easiest? Which one is your favourite and why?

  2. Kia ora Jack,
Well done on creating this blogpost about limericks!
Limericks are such a fantastic form of poetry, and you have done an excellent job creating two of your very own!
The first limerick example you included featured a cute little bunny, and I think it was awesome how you accompanied this poem with a picture that matched the theme.
How did you come up with the idea of the bunny?
Was it difficult to find rhyming words that matched your poem?
Did you base the poem off of the picture, or did you choose the picture after you wrote the poem?
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
Your second limerick was very funny, and I had a laugh when I read that the mole liked eating slime. Personally, I couldn’t think of anything worse to eat than slime! I can just imagine goo spilling out of the moles mouth and all over his front, very similar to the digital image you created!
Thank you for including a brief description as to what a limerick is. This is very helpful to your viewers who may be unsure of the term!
    Keep up the fantastic blogging!
    Nga mihi
